1. Acceptance

By participating in or attending an event, retreat, or program at Holbrook Farms Retreat (a nonprofit dedicated to military survivors), you confirm you are 18 or older and agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility

Participation is limited based on program guidelines. For example, Survivors of Heroes retreats are for those who lost military spouses within the past five years  .

3. Reservation & Fees

• Retreat spots are offered through application processes or event invitations; no public booking system is used.
• Non-refundable donation or fee details will be shared in your welcome packet, if applicable.
• Holbrook Farms covers costs for military-survivor attendees through charitable funding and rental income.

4. Cancellations

• If you cannot attend, please notify us promptly. Allowing us to offer your spot to someone on the waitlist is greatly appreciated.
• If Holbrook Farms must cancel, you’ll be notified ASAP and either offered comparable alternate dates or a full donation refund.

5. Program Conduct & Use of Property

• Respect the property, grounds, staff, volunteers, and fellow guests.
• Facilities include trails, lake access, communal spaces, and a working maple syrup farm with orchard and animals  .
• Activities such as paddle‑boarding, pontoon rides, massage, and yoga are offered at your own risk.

6. Health & Safety

• Let us know any dietary restrictions, mobility needs, or medical concerns ahead of attending.
• In emergencies, Holbrook staff or emergency services may take appropriate action.

7. Media & Photos

• Photos or videos taken during retreats or events may be used for marketing or fundraising unless you expressly opt out in writing beforehand.

8. Intellectual Property

All materials—logos, images, copy—are owned by Holbrook Farms Retreat. They may not be reused without prior written approval.

9. Liability Disclaimer

Holbrook Farms Retreat and its team are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from program participation, to the extent allowed by law.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Minnesota law. Disputes are resolved in local courts around Detroit Lakes / Becker County.

11. Revisions

Holbrook may update these Terms at any time, with changes posted here. Continued attendance implies acceptance.
